Our USMCA course provides an overview of the 2020 United States-Mexico-Canada Free Trade Agreement, which replaced the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The USMCA covers a broad range of topics, such as trade in goods and services, digital trade, intellectual property, labor, environment, customs, rules of origin, and dispute settlement. It aims to strengthen the three countries’ economic integration and competitiveness, while promoting fair trade practices and enhancing cooperation on various issues of mutual interest. The USMCA also addresses challenges that have arisen since NAFTA’s implementation, such as the explosion of e-commerce, data privacy protection issues, labor rights enforcement, and environmental protection concerns.

This course is for anyone responsible for preparing USMCA documentation or that is involved with international imports to the US from Canada or Mexico. It covers the main features and benefits of the USMCA, as well as the requirements and procedures for exporting and importing goods and services under the USMCA. We provide useful information and resources to help navigate the USMCA and take advantage of the opportunities it offers.

Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion is available for download. The course can be completed in 7.5 hours or less.
