This course helps importers, exporters, customs brokers, and those in the trade have a better understanding of forced labor laws and regulations. It gives direction on where to find social compliance program implementation information and provides a detailed overview of the Forced Labor Act and the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA). It also covers importer compliance, import processes, risk assessment, supply chain documentation, supplier expectations, forced labor compliance plan development, and how to perform due diligence. The course includes training employees to recognize forced labor identifiers, satisfying CTPAT’s Trade Compliance training on forced labor requirements.
Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in about 1.75 hours and earns NCBFAA-registered students 2 CCS/CES continuing education credits.
