This international trade import/export class is a basic introduction to ATA carnets. First it covers ATA carnet application requirements. Then the course covers import/export procedures, carnet cancellation and the consequences of failure to return all goods back to the home country within the carnet validity period. Finally, we address the role of the freight forwarder and customs broker in advising and assisting clients with carnets.
Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion is available for download. The course can be completed in 7.25 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 7.5 CCS/CES continuing education credits.
