There are over 50 Partner Government Agencies with electronic filing capabilities. This course will only cover those that have documents that must be submitted through ACE, whether through a PGA message set or Document Image System (DIS). There will be a brief introduction of each, including what they do, the electronic documents needed, where their regulations are found and links to their websites for further import information. The intention is to create an intermediate course based on each, similar to C14u—Food and Drug Administration Regulated Imports.

 

Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion is available for download. The course can be completed in 7.25 hours or less.

For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course. To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:

 

  1. Register for DB Schenker online training (if you haven’t already done so)
  2. Login with your user name and password, and you will be directed to your “My Page” section.
  3. Select “Update user record” on the right, enter your CCS or CES number in the “NCBFAA ID” field, and click Submit Update.

That’s it! Once you’re signed up, we’ll automatically send any CE credits you earn directly to the NCBFAA!
