HTS, or Harmonized Tariff Schedule, is the foundation for the import and export classification systems used in the US. This class reflects the most recent HTS revisions and is designed to provide all personnel who perform import/export customs tariff classifications with an in-depth knowledge of the structure and the rules of legal harmonized tariff classification.


Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 22.5 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 20 CCS/CES continuing education credits.

For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course. To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:

 

  1. Register for DB Schenker online training (if you haven’t already done so)
  2. Login with your user name and password, and you will be directed to your “My Page” section.
  3. Select “Update user record” on the right, enter your CCS or CES number in the “NCBFAA ID” field, and click Submit Update.

That’s it! Once you’re signed up, we’ll automatically send any CE credits you earn directly to the NCBFAA!
