This 5-hour HTSUS customs classification learning class covers a basic knowledge of the HTSUS layout, general rules, additional rules, HTSUS interpretation, and special programs. It is designed for students who already have some knowledge of US Customs classification to the 10-digit level. At the end of this course, a 3-hour evaluation will be given to measure improvement. A certification in HTSUS customs classification can be issued separately upon successfully passing the exam.

 

Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 8 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 8.5 CCS/CES continuing education credits.

For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course. To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:

 

  1. Register for DB Schenker online training (if you haven’t already done so)
  2. Login with your user name and password, and you will be directed to your “My Page” section.
  3. Select “Update user record” on the right, enter your CCS or CES number in the “NCBFAA ID” field, and click Submit Update.

That’s it! Once you’re signed up, we’ll automatically send any CE credits you earn directly to the NCBFAA!
