The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is the regulatory authority behind the United States’ strict import requirements and programs designed to keep America’s food supply safe. This course is for anyone that needs a better understanding of the FDA’s import process and information requirements, including information on Prior Notice, Food Facility Registration, the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) and the Voluntary Qualified Importer Program (VQIP).
Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 3.75 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 4 CCS continuing education credits.
For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course.
