This class is perfect for freight forwarding managers and supervisors at all levels who are responsible for supervision of operations, company compliance programs and staff training in US import requirements and procedures. It covers “Minimum Security Criteria” required under the CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program for employees of customs brokerages.

Training of personnel to recognize threats, be aware of vulnerabilities, and understand the important role each person plays in securing the supply chain is required by the CTPAT program. This course is designed to meet the CTPAT security training and threat awareness requirement for employees who must understand, perform and/or otherwise comply with operational-level security measures.

Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 3.25 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 3.5 CCS continuing education credits.

Important: Supervisors and managers that have the responsibility of setting-up, documenting, administering, and ensuring compliance with their company’s CTPAT program should take S12u – Customs Broker Managers, Supervisors & Administrators CTPAT Security Training. S12u contains more in-depth coverage, certification, and validation requirements.

This course can be used for both initial training and annual refresher training. Because CTPAT security measure implementation varies by company, this course provides general-purpose coverage of these topics only. For larger groups, we recommend customizing this training by supplementing with company-specific security policies and procedures. Please contact us for more information about customization.
