This class is designed to meet US CTPAT training requirements for Customs Brokers, as well as managers and supervisors. Those who must understand, perform and/or otherwise comply with operational-level security measures as required under the US CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program will benefit from this course. It addresses supply chain security awareness and the operational security measures (“Minimum Security Criteria”) required specifically for Customs Brokers, managers and supervisors, including recognizing and handling restrictive trade practices, permissible and non-permissible actions a forwarder may take, and reporting requirements. It also covers CTPAT benefits, application, certification, validation and program requirements for customs brokers.
Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 12.5 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 12 CCS/CES continuing education credits.
Note: Because CTPAT security measure implementation varies by company, this course provides general-purpose coverage of these topics only. For larger groups, we recommend customizing this training by supplementing with company-specific security policies and procedures. Please contact us for more information about customization.
