This class is designed to meet the CTPAT training requirement for managers and supervisors who must understand, perform and comply with operational-level security measures. It covers supply chain security awareness and the operational security measures (“Minimum Security Criteria”) required for importers under the US CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program, including concerns and tips when handling cargo on behalf of a foreign freight forwarder or consolidator.

 

Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 12 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 11.5 CCS/CES continuing education credits.

 

Note: Because CTPAT security measure implementation varies by company, this course provides general-purpose coverage of these topics only. For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course. To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:

 

  1. Register for DB Schenker online training (if you haven’t already done so)
  2. Login with your user name and password, and you will be directed to your “My Page” section.
  3. Select “Update user record” on the right, enter your CCS or CES number in the “NCBFAA ID” field, and click Submit Update.

That’s it! Once you’re signed up, we’ll automatically send any CE credits you earn directly to the NCBFAA!
