Our CTPAT for Third Party Logisitics Personnel course equips employees to recognize security threats and to be aware of vulnerabilities. First, it covers the requirements for all CTPAT members and their partners. Then, it helps 3PL employees understand the critical role each individual plays in securing the supply chain: inbound freight, customs and freight consolidation, and warehouse operations.
This course focuses on the “people and physical security” area of the minimum security criteria (MSC). Training of personnel to recognize threats, be aware of vulnerabilities, and understand the important role each person plays in securing the supply chain is required by the CTPAT program.
MSC 12.1 (Minimum Security Criteria) mandates regular security training for Third Party Logisitics Personnel, according to their job function and position. New 3PL hires must receive this training as part of their orientation and/or job skills training.
Note: This course can be used for both initial training and annual refresher training. Because CTPAT security measure implementation varies by company, this course provides general-purpose coverage of these topics only. For larger groups, we recommend customizing this training by supplementing with company-specific security policies and procedures. Please contact us for more information about customization.
