This import and export freight forwarder class is designed as a “jump-start” training course for entry-level staff and is the initial foundation course for air forwarding in the US. It also fills in the gaps for personnel already engaged in air cargo forwarding but whose initial training was limited to immediate operational tasks. It addresses fundamentals of cargo transport applicable to all modes.

 

This course can be completed in 15.5 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 15 CES continuing education credits.

For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course. To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:

 

  1. Register for DB Schenker online training (if you haven’t already done so)
  2. Login with your user name and password, and you will be directed to your “My Page” section.
  3. Select “Update user record” on the right, enter your CCS or CES number in the “NCBFAA ID” field, and click Submit Update.

That’s it! Once you’re signed up, we’ll automatically send any CE credits you earn directly to the NCBFAA!
