This exports & imports air cargo transportation training is the second class in our career development sequence for air forwarding in the US. It is especially well-suited for anyone experienced in domestic air cargo shipping who would like to advance into international shipping. For freight forwarding personnel with on-the-job operational experience, this course will fill in any gaps in their basic understanding. We recommend that entry-level staff trainees for shipping companies first complete AF1u (insert link) prior to taking this course.


Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 17 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 17 CCS/CES continuing education credits.

For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course. To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:


  1. Register for DB Schenker online training (if you haven’t already done so)
  2. Login with your user name and password, and you will be directed to your “My Page” section.
  3. Select “Update user record” on the right, enter your CCS or CES number in the “NCBFAA ID” field, and click Submit Update.

That’s it! Once you’re signed up, we’ll automatically send any CE credits you earn directly to the NCBFAA!
